Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by JL Collective LLC ("JL Collective," "we," "us"), and, where stated below, of the software platform we operate for clients. By using the site, you agree to them.

What this site is

This website is informational. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, or professional advice, and browsing it does not create a client relationship with us. Our work for clients is governed by separate written agreements, and where those agreements differ from anything here, the agreements control.

Our platform

JL Collective also operates software (the "platform") that we use to deliver marketing services to clients who engage us. Where a client authorizes the platform to access its advertising accounts — for example, by granting access through Meta's authorization flow — the following applies, in addition to that client's written agreement with us:

• Authorization and revocation. The client grants access deliberately, through the advertising platform's own consent process, and may revoke it at any time through that platform's business settings (for example, Meta Business Manager). Revocation ends any further access.
• Human approval. The platform drafts proposed changes; a named, authorized approver reviews and approves each change before it is made, and every approval is recorded with the approver's identity. The one exception is a pause-only spend safeguard that a client authorizes in advance, in writing, which can only stop delivery and never start it or increase a budget.
• Ownership. The client owns its advertising accounts, pages, pixels, audiences, and data. We hold access only to perform the services the client engaged us for, and we claim no rights in client accounts or data.
• Data. What we access, what we store, and for how long are described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms for platform use. Platform data for a client is deleted within 30 days of revocation or the end of the engagement, except records we must retain by law.
• Third-party platforms. Use of the platform with Meta products is also subject to Meta's own terms and policies, which the client remains responsible for in respect of its own accounts.

Our content

The text, design, and branding on this site belong to JL Collective LLC. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. The names and marks of other companies mentioned or linked here belong to their respective owners.

No warranties

The site is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we make no warranties that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or current at any given moment.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JL Collective LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Our total liability arising from the website is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars. This section does not limit anything agreed in a signed client agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
